Ondansetron hydrochloride is the hydrochloride of the antiemetic drug ondansetron. Its pharmacological action is the same as ondansetron. Ondansetron hydrochloride is a potent and highly selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. The antiemetic effect is better than metoclopramide for nausea after chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.
