Trimetazidine hydrochloride belongs to other anti-angina cardiovascular drugs. It prevents the decrease of intracellular ATP level by protecting the energy metabolism of cells under hypoxia or ischemia, thereby ensuring the normal function of the ion pump and the permeable sodium- The normal operation of potassium flow maintains the stability of the intracellular environment. Trimetazidine hydrochloride tablets are used as an add-on drug for the symptomatic treatment of adult patients with stable angina pectoris who are poorly controlled or cannot tolerate first-line anti-angina pectoris therapy.
1. Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease angina pectoris Stable angina pectoris is the result of myocardial ischemia due to a temporary imbalance between myocardial oxygen demand and oxygen supply. Trimetazidine hydrochloride was initially used to treat stable angina pectoris. In a meta-analysis of randomized studies, trimetazidine hydrochloride reduced the number of weekly angina pectoris attacks and the dose of nitrates, and prolonged the duration of 1mm ST-segment depression compared with placebo.
2. Coronary revascularization In recent years, the myocardial protective effect of trimetazidine hydrochloride in coronary revascularization has been reported frequently.
