    What is Matcha Powder?

Matcha is a finely ground powder made from shade-grown green tea leaves (Camellia sinensis). Unlike regular tea where you steep leaves and discard them, with matcha you consume the entire leaf — delivering a concentrated source of antioxidants, amino acids, and natural caffeine.

Our matcha is produced using traditional stone-grinding methods, preserving the vibrant green color, fresh aroma, and rich umami flavor that defines premium matcha.

    VI.Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know About Our Organic Matcha

    Q1

Is Matcha made from Green Tea or Tencha?

Matcha is specifically ground from Tencha. While Tencha is a type of green tea, its production process is unique: the tea bushes are shaded before harvest, and after picking, the leaves are steamed, air-dried, and stripped of stems and veins. Only the pure leaf flesh (lamina) ground into a fine powder can be truly called Matcha.

    Q2

    Is Matcha sweet or bitter?

High-quality Matcha (Ceremonial Grade) features a unique "Umami" profile with a natural sweetness and seaweed-like aroma, with almost no bitterness. Lower or Culinary grades possess a more pronounced bitterness and astringency, making them ideal for pairing with dairy or sweeteners.

    Q3

Do heavy metal levels (Lead, Arsenic, Cadmium) comply with import standards?

Food safety is our core commitment. Our products are regularly tested by SGS / Eurofins to ensure that heavy metal levels (Pb, As, Cd) are far below international regulatory limits and meet the strict import standards of your country.

    Q4

Is this 100% First-Flush (Spring) tea, or a blend with second-harvest tea?

    100% First-Flush Spring Tea Only:

    • Organic Matcha (A–10A): All specifications are 100% spring tea to meet high organic standards.
