LIPOSOMAL DELIVERY PRINCIPLE
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble compound with inherently limited aqueous dispersibility and variable gastrointestinal absorption in standard powder forms. Unlike water-soluble vitamins that dissolve readily, fat-soluble vitamins require bile salts and dietary lipids for uptake — making absorption highly dependent on meal composition and individual digestive conditions.
Liposomal encapsulation embeds dl-α-Tocopheryl Acetate within phospholipid bilayer vesicles, creating a delivery system that mimics the body's own lipid transport mechanisms. Our process achieves three manufacturing-critical outcomes:
(1) consistent dry-powder flowability for high-speed capsule filling and V-blender mixing;
(2) protection of the active from oxidative degradation — especially relevant for Vitamin E, which is itself oxidation-prone during storage;
(3) reconstitution into stable liposomal dispersions in aqueous systems for uniform dosing in multi-phase beverage premixes.
