Cosmetic Grade Niacinamide Powder CAS 98-92-0 Vitamin B3 Nicotinamide for Skin Brightening
Niacinamide
VITAMIN B3 POWDER
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3/Nicotinamide) is a versatile, clinical-grade bio-active ingredient essential for multi-dimensional skincare formulations. Unlike traditional aggressive whitening agents, our high-purity Niacinamide functions by effectively modulating the transfer of melanosomes to keratinocytes, promoting a visibly brighter and more even skin tone. Characterized by its exceptional stability and low irritation profile, this 99% pure crystalline powder also acts as a primary catalyst for ceramide synthesis, significantly strengthening the skin's natural moisture barrier while regulating sebum production for oily and acne-prone skin types.

KEY ADVANTAGES
Ultra-Low Nicotinic Acid ( ≤ 100ppm)
Nicotinic acid is the primary cause of "flushing" or redness in B3 products. Our precision refinement ensures minimal residual acid, providing a non-irritating experience even for sensitive skin formulations.
Multi-Pathway Skin Brightening
Instead of inhibiting tyrosinase, it blocks the path of melanin reaching the skin surface. This makes it highly effective for promoting an even skin tone and reducing the appearance of dark spots.
Enhanced Barrier Function
Acts as a precursor to NADH and NADPH, fueling the synthesis of essential lipids (ceramides) and proteins (keratin, filaggrin) to revitalize the skin’s protective barrier.
Excellent Formula Compatibility
Exhibits high stability against light and heat. It is compatible with most skincare actives and maintains potency across a wide pH range (optimal stability at pH 6.0).
FUNCTIONAL ROLES
1. Luminance & Even Tone
Modulates melanosome transfer to brighten dull skin.
2. Anti-Aging Support
Boosts collagen production to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
3. Sebum Regulation
Balances oil production and minimizes the appearance of enlarged pores.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
1. Brightening Serums & Essences
The core active for "Glow" and "Tone-Correcting" liquid formulas.
2. Anti-Aging Creams
Incorporated into night creams and eye treatments for cellular renewal.
3. Oil-Control Lotions
Ideal for dermatological formulations targeting oily or combination skin.
4. Sheet Masks & Patches
Highly soluble and stable for quick-delivery topical formats.

TECHNICAL FAQ
Q1: What is the optimal pH for formulating with Niacinamide?
A:Niacinamide is most stable at a pH around 6.0. In environments where the pH is too low (acidic < 4.5), Niacinamide can hydrolyze back into Nicotinic Acid, which may cause irritation. We recommend maintaining a pH between 5.5 and 7.0 for maximum stability and performance.
Q2: Can Niacinamide be combined with Vitamin C in the same product?
A: Yes, but with care. Modern high-purity Niacinamide is much more compatible than older grades. However, combining it with L-Ascorbic Acid (which requires low pH) may cause a color change or a Niacin-flush. We recommend using stable Vitamin C derivatives (like SAP or AA2G) for the best results in a combined formula.
